Senwell Senior Investment Advisors Advises Atrium Health Affiliate
on Sale of Four Charlotte-Area Skilled Nursing Facilities
to Ignite Medical Resorts

June 2026
Senwell Senior Investment Advisors served as exclusive advisor to AHSNF, Inc., a North Carolina nonprofit corporation affiliated with Atrium Health, on the sale of four skilled nursing facilities in the greater Charlotte, North Carolina area. The facilities, totaling more than 500 beds, were acquired by Ignite Medical Resorts, marking Ignite’s entry into North Carolina and its seventh state of operation.
Senwell designed and led a robust, confidential operator-selection process built around the priorities Atrium Health cared about most: its commitment to quality care, operational excellence, and continued investment in the communities the facilities serve. Ignite Medical Resorts emerged as the operator that best reflected those priorities. The offering drew an exceptional level of national demand from operators and institutional investors, a testament to the discipline of the process and the quality of the assets involved.
“This was a meticulous process involving a respected health system, a strong operator, and the people and patients who depend on these buildings every day,” said Brandon Bohland, Managing Partner of Senwell Senior Investment Advisors. “We built the process around exactly what mattered and ran it with discipline across hundreds of prospective buyers. We are proud of where this landed for everyone involved.”
The Senwell team was led by Brandon Bohland, Managing Partner, and Collin Hempfling, Associate, Investment Sales.
