The acquisition will allow the buyer, a rising regional operator, to expand their offerings in the skilled nursing space and continue growing their business. The seller, a large health system, was looking to exit the skilled nursing industry and redirect resources to other areas of their business. The transaction was competitive, with two bidders vying for the bed licenses. Ultimately, the buyer was able to secure the licenses and plans to continue growing their presence in the skilled nursing market.
