Skilled Nursing Bed License Transfer to Central Ohio

Senwell is proud to announce the successful purchase and sale of bed licenses in several counties within Ohio. The team leveraged the state’s transferability rules to move beds from multiple over-bedded counties to a site within a county in need of beds. Senwell aggregated beds from two sellers, both changing their facilities from SNFs to other uses. The transaction helped them pay for the capital costs for their projects. The buyer used the beds for a new development outside of Columbus, OH. The site consists of IL apartments, an AL neighborhood, memory care and 50 skilled nursing beds.
