skilled nursing facilities in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
The seller is a well-respected, multi-state skilled nursing operator with a strong
reputation for quality care. Both facilities were purpose-built from the ground up,
meticulously maintained, and had never previously changed hands. The physical plants
on both campuses are among the best in the market.
The seller made the strategic decision to divest as part of a broader capital
redeployment strategy. With only two facilities in the state and core operations
concentrated elsewhere, the proceeds from this sale are being reinvested into markets
where the seller has a proven, dominant presence.
The transaction brought together a publicly-traded healthcare REIT, a regional hospital
system, and an experienced Indiana-based regional operator – a strong combination of
institutional capital and operational depth.
The residents, staff, and facilities are left in great hands with one of the strongest teams
in the state.
